Refund Policy

Last updated: 22 June 2026

14-day cancellation right

Under UK consumer law you have a statutory 14-day right to cancel a purchase of digital content and receive a full refund.

Digital goods carve-out — important

EX-RAY supplies digital content (a one-off AI-generated debrief and an interactive Q&A terminal) that is delivered to you immediately on payment.

At checkout you are asked to expressly agree that:

  • you want the digital content delivered immediately, and
  • you acknowledge that, once the debrief has been fully generated and made available to you, you lose your 14-day right to cancel under regulation 37 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

This means a refund is not available for change of mind once your debrief has been generated and displayed to you. Refunds remain available before generation, and for technical failures, duplicate charges, or other faults — see below.

When you can still get a refund

  • You paid but the debrief never generated — full refund.
  • Duplicate or accidental charge — full refund of the duplicate.
  • The debrief is materially faulty (e.g. empty, corrupted, or wrong scan) — full refund or a working debrief, your choice.
  • Any other circumstance we accept as eligible at our sole discretion.

How to request a refund

To request a refund, email us at support@exray-scan.com with your order details. We will review your request and, if approved, process the refund through Stripe, our payment processor.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

Your other rights

Nothing in this policy affects your non-waivable statutory rights as a consumer under the laws of England & Wales or your country of residence.
